Established in 2007, BAJA NITK Racing is the official off-road motorsports team of NITK — 80+ engineers building a high-performance electric ATV, end to end.

Where we race
We represent NITK and our partners at national-level engineering competitions — SAE BAJA and the All Terrain Vehicle Championship (ATVC). Teams are judged in the boardroom as well as on the dirt.

FEA on the roll cage, suspension kinematics, drivetrain and battery sizing.

Tube cutting, notching, welding, machining, wiring, assembly.

First run
Finish the car and run it at Engi, NITK’s annual technical fest.
